Time, well spent
From a private dinner beneath the oaks to a slow morning with nowhere to be, here’s how a Return to Romance unfolds at Green Pastures.
Dine at Mattie’s
Idyllic charm paired with carefully sourced, seasonal cuisine have drawn generations to dine at the farmhouse for more than 75 years — a farmhouse restaurant featuring nourishing, farm-fresh food made from the best seasonal produce available.
Wander the grounds
Set on oak-shaded grounds with resident peacocks, the six-acre estate began as part of 50 rural acres, anchored by a farmhouse built in 1895. Decades later, little has changed about the pace here — just a few blocks from the city’s busiest streets, yet worlds away from it, with room to wander among the trees and take it all in.
Poolside at the Inn
Guests can experience the pool, fitness studio, and complimentary bikes at the Inn, tucked into a corner of the estate that feels far removed from the surrounding city. Whether it’s a morning swim, a workout before breakfast, or a slow afternoon by the water, it’s a private retreat just steps from the main grounds.
