Green Pastures’ storied history, oak-shaded grounds, and resident peacocks make the magical site unmatched
 by its local peers. Originally part of 50 rural acres with a farmhouse built in 1895, its owners named it Green Pastures and opened its doors as an eatery and
public gathering place in 1946.

I recently stayed at the hotel while in town for business, and I truly cannot say enough good things about my experience. It’s clear that hospitality is taken seriously here, and it shows in every detail. I will absolutely be staying here again on my next trip and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Austin. A truly five-star experience.

Loved our stay! It feels like a mini-resort in the city with a great pool area, nice bar and very comfortable, quiet rooms. We had a pool/courtyard facing room, which we would choose again. It was nice to have the green lawn areas and loved seeing the peacocks roaming the property. Also, the freshly baked chocolate chips cookies delivered each nite at turndown was a great little touch as well – plus there are complimentary bottles of water available as well.

The Inn at Green Pastures recently hosted our wedding, and we could not have been happier with the service they provided for us. Courtney and her team were amazing. all of the staff were so welcoming, and our family and friends felt so welcomed at this hotel. It is a beautiful venue for a wedding and a wonderful hotel. We look forward to staying at the Inn again in the future. It will always hold a special place in our hearts.

The hotel was a hidden gem and the staff was so friendly, but Alondra in valet, was awesome – offering suggestions for great spots to visit. And the peacocks were a special treat to see.
